Today we had our first donut day. I don't know why we haven't done it yet. She loved the yellow swivel stools. She had a star sprinkle donut and donut holes.
Sliding Minnie down the "slide". I love Minnie and donuts!
Valerie has loved being in the water since she was tiny. She has never been afraid. In November we decided to start her in indoor swim lessons since she loves it so much. Emler Swim school is a large company that has great techniques that works on teaching children to swim at an early age. She is their star student in the baby class. Uncle Jeff and cousin Julia came to watch today. Here is how amazing she really is at it.
When Valerie needed extra room to play, I decided to make our middle room we have into a 'fancy' playroom with room for her to play but also for us to hangout in. I had a crazy idea to put bead board in it.
Here are the before pictures. Picking the paint color
My mom always said “Soak It In” during my childhood when she wanted us to remember important moments that were happening. I use that often as an adult when memories are being made. This time in my life I am trying to “Soak It In” as much as possible when Valerie is little. I know it will go by way too fast!
I am a colorguard instructor, wife and a mom of a very active little girl and loving every moment of it. I love spending time with my family, music, the outdoors and marching band.
